The new Habitat for Humanity community in picturesque Carpentersville, Illinois will offer a charming and energy efficient lifestyle and includes 13 Nicor Gas Smart Neighborhood homes.

Homes in both neighborhoods include backup power, which provides resiliency and protection for homeowners during turbulent weather conditions. When harsh weather hits, homeowners can relax knowing their home is prepared should they lose power.
